Gates Aviation’s Jo Gillespie once again proudly played a significant role in the resounding success of the World Food Programme’s 8th annual conference for humanitarian air service providers, delivering a presentation on ‘Drones in Humanitarian Operations’ and a training session on ‘Loss of Control in Flight (LOC-I) Prevention’. Other notable speakers came from the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) and Emirates Airline. Around 300 delegates from across the sector attended this 3 day programme and feedback was overwhelmingly positive. WFP showed its appreciation with the certificate and aircraft model in the picture.
