Aviation Criminal Defence Costs

After several years of effort, Gates Aviation has succeeded in obtaining support from a prominent Insurer in London for legal expenses insurance in respect of criminal investigations arising out of aircraft accidents and incidents.  The coverage provides between Euros 500,00 and Euros 1 million by way of defence costs . The policy can be for Airlines wishing to insure their employees and for employee associations such as pilots and engineers associations.  We believe the increase in the number of criminal prosecutions following aircraft accidents makes this an important contribution to risk management and disaster response.
